HAHA Maeva, saved a few caps it appears. But considering her help not sure they would have been paid much anyway. They looked only a step up from raiders themselves.
ReplyDeleteBridget's brains still running a little slow to not have fully picked up on the fact of what Cameron was. First she made a joke about how she talked, and Cameron affirmed then, but then seeing the eyes and still not connecting the dots is kinda funny.
That or maybe she's just about as naively innocent as she appears?
Overall nice work on getting them done. Did you end up making the SMS or was it more of a converted mini hideout like mod?
As far as Bridget not cluing into Cameron's nature, you need to keep in mind that outside of the Commonwealth, no one believes in, let alone is aware of, androids/AIs. Most of the people that have heard of androids don't even believe in them. With what experience Bridget has, she most likely would think Cameron is an advanced cyborg and not a completely synthetic person.
ReplyDeleteThe Surface Monitoring Station is part of the VozaLabs with TARDIS mod, which can be found here http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4801 You will have to copy and paste the url, as I don't know how to tag it properly to make it a link. It is currently a dead mod, but I am seriously thinking on contacting Voza to see if he will let me take it over. I am thinking it would be a wonderful place to put Cameron in for a public companion mod. There are some unfinished aspects to the mod, but I have been doing some tinkering with it. It has some really nice gear, but it has been tweaked enough to make using them practically cheating. Especially since access to the SMS is right outside Vault 101.
I'm so dense; I didn't begin to suspect that it was Cameron inside the power armor until the episode just before where it was actually revealed! Usually I pick up on these things more quickly; your planning of the story has gotten the better of me!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, you're doing a fine job with this and I look forward to seeing more.
Don't feel to bad about not cluing in Herculine. In the episode where Bridget and Cameron first meet in the outer chamber of the SMS, the majority of comments referred to Cameron as "him" more often than not. One comment referenced Cameron as "she" and one other called her by name. It probably didn't help that I made sure that I never once referred to Cameron in those episodes as "he" or "she", which I did on purpose.
ReplyDeleteWhat I have been waiting for since Bridget met Cameron is someone to ask if Cameron and the armoured figure back in Episode One are the same person. Of course now that I mention it, someone will ask ;)
I a pleased to know that you think as highly of the story as you do. As you are aware, feedback like that is what helps fuel further releases :)
